Curriculum and Faculty Development:

  • Curriculum Support: Help GCE Bargur develop and update their curriculum in welding and robotic automation.

  • Recruitment and Training: Participate in campus recruitment and offer training programs to prepare students for jobs in welding automation.

  2. 2 nos of Summer Internship programs in the field of welding engineering have been organized by COE-AW in 2023 & 2024 with the help of Trainers from M/S. Fronius India Pvt Ltd.
  3. One Welding Skill Training program have been organized by COE-AW in 2022 with the help of Trainers from M/S. Fronius India Pvt Ltd.
  4. Welding Skill training for one GCE Bargur student have been given in Fronius technology training center at Chennai during 2022
  5. Industrial training for one GCE Bargur Faculty have been given in Fronius technology training center at Chennai during 2023

  • Student Training: Provide specialized training programs for students in welding and robotic automation at SIECO’s facilities.
  • Faculty Internships: Offer internships for faculty members to gain hands-on experience and stay updated with the latest industry practices.

  • Internship Program: 9 students have completed a 45-day paid internship at KCP Limited, gaining valuable hands-on experience in heavy engineering

Industry-Academia Collaboration:

  • BOS Membership: One KCP Limited employee has actively contributed to GCE Bargur's Board of Studies (BOS) meetings, providing industry insights to help shape the curriculum and academic planning.
