Joint Application Studies in Robotic welding Automation:

• Collaborative Research: Work together with GCE Bargur on research projects in robotic welding automation, using facilities at both Fronius India and GCE Bargur.
• Exchange Programs: Facilitate the exchange of faculty and research staff to share knowledge in robotic welding automation.
• Facility Access: Provide access to Fronius India’s advanced facilities for conducting research and experiments.
• Event Organization: Co-host conferences, seminars, and workshops on welding automation for faculty, students, and researchers.
• Sponsorship: Sponsor and participate in these events by providing speakers, technical sessions, and hands-on training.
• Resource Support: Provide educational materials and equipment for workshops and training sessions.

Technical Support for Project Work:

• Project Guidance: Offer technical support to students and faculty for project work at Fronius India’s facilities, as well as in Austria.
• Global Opportunities: Create opportunities for students and staff to work on projects at Fronius’ headquarters in Austria and partner universities.
• Internships: Provide internships for students to gain practical experience at Fronius India and its global locations.

Curriculum and Faculty Development:

• Curriculum Support: Help GCE Bargur develop and update their curriculum in welding and robotic automation.
• Faculty Training: Provide training programs for faculty to keep their skills up-to-date.
• Recruitment and Training: Participate in campus recruitment and offer training programs to prepare students for jobs in welding automation.
• Certification Programs: Assist in creating certification programs to enhance students’ and faculty members’ skills and employability.

1. Center of Excellence in Advanced Welding established with the Guidance of M/S. Fronius India Pvt Ltd.
2. 2 nos of Summer Internship programs in the field of welding engineering have been organized by COE-AW in 2023 & 2024 with the help of Trainers from M/S. Fronius India Pvt Ltd.
3. One Welding Skill Training program have been organized by COE-AW in 2022 with the help of Trainers from M/S. Fronius India Pvt Ltd.
4. Welding Skill training for one GCE Bargur student have been given in Fronius technology training center at Chennai during 2022
5. Industrial training for one GCE Bargur Faculty have been given in Fronius technology training center at Chennai during 2023
